Dr. Paul OkaforSenior Research Scientist, Sustainable Energy Solutions
Norwegian Institute of Technology, Oslo

Dr. Paul Okafor is currently a Senior Research Scientist with Sustainable Energy Solutions
at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Oslo. After graduating from HGA, he went on to complete his undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Toronto, followed by a PhD in Renewable Energy Systems at ETH Zurich. He currently leads a research team focused on developing innovative solar energy solutions at the Norwegian Institute of Technology. Here is what he has to say about his time at HGA.

Sofia Chen-Martinez is a Contemporary Visual Artist & Gallery Curator
Currently based in Barcelona, Spain. After graduating from HGA she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins in London, followed by a Master's in Curatorial Studies at the Universitat de Barcelona. Today, she works as a contemporary visual artist with exhibitions across Europe and serves as Associate Curator at Galería Arte Contemporáneo in Barcelona. This is what she says about her time at HGA.

"My time at Horizon Academy International School, particularly within the Arts Program, was instrumental in shaping my career as an artist. The program not only allowed me to refine my craft alongside accomplished artists but also provided a platform to showcase my work. Marcus Thompson is a Professional Tennis Coach & Former ATP Tour Player
Head Coach at Singapore Sports Academy. Upon graduating from HGA, he received a full tennis scholarship to the University of Melbourne, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science while competing at the collegiate level. He went on to play professionally on the ATP Tour for six years before transitioning into coaching. Today, he serves as Head Tennis Coach at the Singapore Sports Academy, where he trains aspiring junior players from across Southeast Asia. This is what he has to say about his time at HGA.
